Love Island’s Mary Bedford reveals she has been left ‘cut and bruised’ after car crash

Mary Bedford has revealed that she has been left ‘shaken up’ and ‘bruised’ after being involved in a horrific car crash.

The former Love Island star, 23, took to her Instagram Stories on Tuesday to detail the terrifying ordeal for her 890,000 followers.

She said she was left ‘cut and bruised’ and admitted she felt ‘so grateful’ to have made it back home.

Mary shared a picture of her Range Rover Velar with the front seat airbags inflated and one side of her bonnet completely smashed up after the incident.

In a caption, she wrote: ‘Someone must have been looking down on me today… very shaken up, cut and bruised but so grateful to be back home tonight.’

The influencer has not yet revealed any further details about what happened. 

Last year, Mary revealed that she had splashed out on her ‘dream car’, which was reported to have cost her around £50,000.

Mary, who starred in Love Island’s 2021 series, entered the Casa Amor villa and coupled up with Toby, securing her place on the show.

She then coupled up with latecomer Aaron, who she seemed to have a strong connection with on the show, before friend zoning him on After Sun. 

Mary dated former Love Island favourite Chris, 28, shortly after his split from Little Mix singer Jesy Nelson, 30, in August 2020. 

Since leaving the ITV2 dating show, Mary launched her new LullaBellz by Mary Bedford product back in April.

The reality star posted a host of snaps from her product’s launch party to her Instagram followers.

The celebratory brunch was held at The Ivy, which was decked out with extravagant flower displays, small posters with Mary’s face on them and a menu of personalised cocktails, including a Mary Martini.

The launch was to celebrate the release of her collaboration with the hair extension company, the Feathered Bun Booster – which she wore to the brunch.
