Matilda Draper hit back at Love Island bosses for twisting the narrative in Casa Amor, insisting their was ‘no beef’ with Jess White.

The brunette bombshell, 24, insisted the duo did ‘butt heads’ over Hugo Godfroy but quickly squashed their differences.

In the villa, Jess became annoyed when Matilda starting chatting and getting an interest in Hugo, whom she also fancied.

Speaking to Ami Charlize in her Private Story podcast, Ami asked Matilda if she thought producers tried to twist the situation with Hugo and make her out to be ‘mean’.

Ami said: ‘I think the producers tried to twist with it with Hugo.

It comes after Matilda and Sean Stone, 24, revealed they had parted ways

‘With Jess, I remember with the Casa Amor part where they were trying to make out that you wasn’t a girls girls.

‘But I was watching it like “She’s done nothing wrong?” So was there beef or was it really nothing?’

Agreeing with Ami, Matilda said: ‘At the time I was in Casa, I was just like, ‘I’ve got to chat to these people’. Obviously I was chatting to Jake and I chatted to Hugo a bit.

‘And then [me and Jess] had that argument because she was like, ‘I’m so happy with him’. 

‘But I was like, ‘Babe, I’m not doing anything wrong. I’m having a convo and you’ve known him two days’.

‘And she got that, but we just both butted heads.’
