It’s one of the raunchiest shows on television and now some of Love Island’s secrets have been revealed. 

Islanders have to abide by strict rules for sex, while a specific brand of condoms are used at all times. 

Meanwhile, producers watch every move of the contestants with a whopping 69 cameras being placed around the $15 million-dollar villa.

The publication reports that Four Seasons is the show’s official condom supplier, while verbal consent for sex must be given before a rumble in the sheets.

It’s previously been reported that there are a whopping 69 cameras and 85 microphones in the house, with every move recorded.

According to The Fix this week, there is a psychologist in the villa at hand to help the contestants if they need. 

The show’s executive producer, Alex Mavroidakis told the publication: ‘Islanders are free to ask to see him at any point but so far they all seem pretty content living in a multi-million dollar Villa with some of the hottest people in Australia. Go figure!’

Alex also told the publication that the only contact the reality stars have with the outside world is with the crew – who aren’t allowed to talk to them.

But Alex said the producers talk to the contestants in the Beach Hut, but the contestants can’t see the producers. 

Alex added that one unnamed contestant broke the no-contact rule when in ‘lockdown.’ 

The rules of lockdown are no internet, no phone calls etc. One female Islander got busted sneaking away to call her mum back in Australia and racked up a $100 EUR ($170 AUD) bill with one call!’

Meanwhile, according to Chronicle Live, former contestants of the UK version of the show confirmed they get secret days off when they can talk candidly off camera during their time in the villa.
