Mystery surrounds the sudden death of a 19-year-old girl who ‘fell off a bed’ and suffered severe head injuries – as neighbours reveal they heard ‘screams’ before the bizarre incident

Neighbours have recalled hearing ‘screams’ in the days before a teenage girl was found ‘collapsed’ following reports she ‘fell off a bed’ and suffered fatal injuries.

Daily Mail Australia can reveal the deceased is Queensland woman Krystal Taylor. 

The 19-year-old who worked at Coffee Club was discovered unresponsive by paramedics in Bundamba, a suburb of Ipswich west of Brisbane, about 9.30pm on Saturday.

She was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane with critical head injuries, but died on Sunday night.

Investigators have not revealed who called emergency services but it is understood a man was inside the home at the time of the incident.

Forensic officers have cordoned off the property and are continuing to comb the home for evidence.

Daily Mail Australia understands those who live close by heard ‘yelling and screaming’ coming from the home in the days leading up the incident. 

Although the homicide squad are assisting with initial enquiries the death is not currently being treated as a murder investigation. 

However Queensland Police said investigations into the circumstances surrounding her death are ongoing.

‘You will forever be in my heart Krystal,’ a loved one posted.

‘You were taken way too soon and to think your 20th was in less than 2 weeks’.

‘You were a major joy in our lives! I can’t believe I have to say goodbye.

‘I enjoyed every single moment with you.

‘You will NEVER be forgotten beautiful.’

Another person close to Ms Taylor said the young woman ‘truly walked her own path’. 

Others said: ‘Sending hugs to your family’ and ‘Rest in Peace gorgeous.’

A third wrote: ‘Fly high Krystal, thanks for sparking joy in those who found themselves within your world.’
