Lucky Aussie comes forward to claim huge $70million Oz Lotto prize

One lucky Tasmanian man has become an overnight millionaire after he won a mega $70million prize in Tuesday night’s Oz Lotto. 

The winning numbers on for draw 1633 were 44, 34, 45, 1, 46, 25, and 21, 

The supplementary numbers were 9, 14, and 16. 

The man claimed he checked the winning ticket more than ’15 times’ online since Tuesday night but worried he was dreaming until The Lott officials called on Wednesday morning. 

‘Oh wow. I don’t have to come to work anymore, it’s -1C here at the moment where I am working,’ he told them. 

‘I might just go and hand my resignation in right now.

‘I have hardly slept all night. I was wondering if I was dreaming, and I was going to wake up and someone was going to say, it was all just a dream.’ 

The man had bought the sole Division 1 winning ticket online. 

He said he planned on spending part of the $70million prize on a home for him and his partner after a ‘rough’ few years.
