Luke Littler kept his dream of winning three consecutive Premier League nights alive after battling past Rob Cross in the quarter-finals in Birmingham.

The Nuke fell 3-1 behind and looked set to crash out at the first hurdle but rallied back in style before pinning a nervy double nine to secure his semi-final spot.

Littler is aiming to seal a sensational hat-trick tonight, having clinched victories in Belfast and Manchester and taken his spectacular debut year to new heights.

His route past Cross was anything but simple, however. Voltage took control with Littler out of sorts, sparking the teenager to angrily throw one dart at the board.

But Littler steadied himself after missing the bullseye for a 170 checkout by a matter of inches before stepping in to clear up on his favourite double 10.

The tungsten prodigy then levelled the match after pinning double 10 again.

Cross fought back to 4-4 but Littler, who had found his groove, held his nerve.

A 134 and 137 start from Littler saw him pull away from his opponent but after he squandered two darts at double 15, only a big miss from Cross allowed him back in.

From there, Littler made no mistake with taking out 30.

The final leg began in style, both players having hit 180s to raise the roof, but again, Littler put himself in the driving seat before reeling off a 36 checkout.
