She’s the veteran actress and who’s known for her role as Irene Roberts on Home And Away.
And after nearly two decades on the popular soap, on Monday, Lynne McGranger revealed she would be saying goodbye to Summer Bay.
Opening up about her move to TV Week, the 64-year-old star credited ‘getting bored easily’ for her departure.

‘I’m one of those people who needs a bit of a change-up and something different,’ she confessed.
But assuring fans it’s not what it seems, Lynne revealed she was only taking a short overseas trip and would return to her role of Irene thereafter.
‘I’m off to York to play the wicked fairy in Beauty And The Beast. I’m really looking forward to it,’ she said.

And with 12 shows a week and only nine days to rehearse, Lynne admitted that her new role was definitely ‘physically demanding’.
But it’s not the first time she’s has embarked on the pantomime pilgrimage, in fact, it’s an annual event for the star.
Last year saw the actress play the Wicked Queen in Snow White and in 2015 she hailed as the Fairy Godmother in Cinderella.

Speaking to a the York Press last year, she said she still sees it as a holiday.
‘The UK panto experience is always exciting – even though I am working hard and doing two shows a day, it’s also like a holiday,’ she said.
‘I love being somewhere new, meeting people and making new friends.’
Lynne will appear in Beauty And The Beast from December 15 to January 7
