A Macklemore fan who joined the artist on stage at one of his concerts was allegedly arrested after police learned she was a wanted person.
This past weekend, a 24-year-old woman was invited to perform a duet with Macklemore on stage during his concert at the Lovestream Festival in Vajnory, Slovakia, a Facebook post made by the Slovakian police revealed.
The woman ‘boasted’ about the duet on social media, but was recognized by someone who was aware she was wanted.
This individual tipped off police, who arrested her following her performance with the touring artist.
They reportedly allowed her to finish the song before detaining her.

They did not reveal what her alleged crime was.
But according to Slovakian outlet PLUS 7 DNI, the woman was arrested over an incident which occurred back in 2019. The woman allegedly interrupted a soccer match by running shirtless onto the field.
She was charged with disorderly conduct and spent a weekend in pretrial detention center, according to the outlet. However, she allegedly did not pay the fine of 800 euros she was charged with, which prompted her to become a wanted person.
Law enforcement have reportedly been searching for the woman since June.
Macklemore was just one of several big names performing at the festival, with the likes of 50 Cent, Rita Ora, and Tiesto also headlining, according to the Independent.
He posted about the concert to his Instagram, sharing snaps from the show and reflecting on how the show was nearly cancelled due to the rain.
‘It rained as hard as rain can fall. Lightning vigorously pierced the Bratislava Slovakia sky. The Lovestream festival evacuated.
‘I waited and paced the backstage corridor, unsure if we were meant to touch the stage that night. But finally, just as we had given up hope the festival informed us they were letting the people back in.

The Thrift Shop singer is currently on tour and will next be headed to Zurich, Switzerland for a performance on August 24.
