Made In Chelsea stars ‘left shaken by blaze on set after car burst into flames near country manor where the show is filming’

The stars of Made In Chelsea reportedly suffered a nasty scare when a car burst into flames during filming.

According to The Sun, the vehicle went up in flames near the country manor where castmembers including Eliza Batten and Olivia Bentley are staying.

A neighbour of the manor said of the incident: ‘It was really scary. The car was engulfed in flames and firefighters were called to deal with the blaze.

‘The cast were far enough away so they were safe but some were a bit shaken.’

The pad, located in West Sussex, is on 23 acres of land and boasts an indoor swimming pool, a games room, stables and a tennis court.

MailOnline has contacted a representative for E4 for comment.

It comes after The Sun previously reported that the cast would film in a stately home rather than their usual locations around London in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic.

A source said: ‘The show’s producers are unable to film a normal series because of Covid-19 so they have come up with the great idea to hire a big country house and see what unfolds.

‘There’s just no way they could possibly film fights, rows and romance in restaurants and bars right now, so they are planning to get a place in Surrey and film throughout August.

‘Bosses are drawing up a list of just who will be going into the house, and they are even debating sticking in a rogue ex here and there to spice things up. It’ll be like a posh Big Brother.’

It comes after show star Olivia Bentley discussed how she decided that dating girls ‘wasn’t for her’ and revealed her desire to get married and have FIVE children.

Olivia had confessed during an episode of the E4 reality show that she’d developed feelings for a woman, revealed to be TOWIE’s Demi Sims, and the pair had shared a kiss.

Olivia told Hello! magazine: ‘I met this girl while I was out with friends and she invited me for a drink. Everyone is so quick to say no [to this kind of same-sex dalliance], so I thought I’d just see. I decided it wasn’t for me and that I’m not that way inclined.’

The reality star confirmed she’s 100% single, telling the publication: ‘There’s no one in my life and I’m so content. I’m better when I’m single as I feel more emotionally in control.’

Liv admitted that there’s ‘a lot of stuff’ she wants to do before settling down, but asserted: ‘I definitely want marriage and children one day.

‘I’d like loads of kids – five of them, like in my family. Trying to find a husband who wants that too will probably be a nightmare!’
