MAFS AU: Caitlin shields her face with a cap and sunglasses in Sydney

Caitlin McConville was left sad and emotional after he husband Shannon Adams revealed he was ‘still in love’ with an ex. 

And the Married At First Sight star was clearly affected as she hid her face and went incognito while filming episodes. 

The TV star kept her look low-key wearing loose, ripped jeans and a nude-hued top and bolero which had puffy sleeves. 

She wore a snapback cap and oversized sunglasses as she walked down along a Sydney street carrying a reusable bag.

It comes after Caitlin opened-up about the moment her new ‘husband’ Shannon admitted he was ‘still in love’ with his ex. 

The 27-year-old said the revelation was a ‘hard pill to swallow’ while speaking to Nine Entertainment on Wednesday.

It comes after Caitlin opened-up about the moment her new ‘husband’ Shannon admitted he was ‘still in love’ with his ex 

‘The thing that hit the hardest was this was supposed to be my opportunity to find love, and [it felt like] it was now potentially non-existent or maybe never existed if he came in here loving his ex,’ she said. 

Caitlin said she had been feeling ‘so optimistic’ but started questioning whether she ‘really stood a chance’.   

‘I have never been somebody’s first choice or somebody’s special person and here I was yet again in the experiment in that same situation,’ she said.

During Tuesday night’s episode of MAFS, Shannon admitted to Caitlin he was still in love with his ex.

Caitlin had busted Shannon taking a sneaky call in the apartment, and when she confronted him, found out he was talking to his ex.  

An emotional Shannon then admitted he still had feelings for her, and he didn’t want to lead either of them on.

‘You were on the phone to your ex, so I just want to check where your head is at and where we are at moving forward,’ she asked him.

An emotional Shannon then admitted he still had feelings for her, and he didn’t want to lead either of them on

‘I honestly don’t know,’ a confused Shannon replied.  

Caitlin went on to say she had plenty of concerns about their future together, including not knowing how Shannon felt about her after the photo ranking challenge when he placed her third after contestants Melinda Wills and Claire Nomarhas.

‘I hate the fact that I say this but I still love her,’ he added.

‘I’ve got so much respect for you, but I can’t lie, you’re an absolute saint… I just feel like I’m leading two people on.’
