MAFS AU: Ella Ding and Domenica Calarco go commando at the Logies

Married At First Sight brides Ella Ding and Domenica Calarco both looked incredible as they dazzled in glamorous gowns at the 2022 Logie Awards.

But on Monday, the outspoken brides revealed that they walked the red carpet without any underwear on.

Speaking on a bonus episode of their podcast, Sit With Us, Domenica, 28, admitted that she told Sophie Monk that she and Ella were going commando after the Love Island host told them she had a wedgie.

‘We’re like, “Babe, we don’t have underwear on, but if we did it would be up there too”,’ Dom shared.

Ella said that she’s been going ‘commando for as long as [she] can remember’. 

‘But for me, it was just health reasons. I would get UTIs [urinary tract infections] or thrush from underwear all the time,’ Ella confessed.

‘I tried the organic cotton for a very long time [but it] didn’t work.’

‘So, I just started not wearing underwear,’ she said, before adding that she also wears jeans sans knickers.

Elsewhere, Ella confessed that she didn’t eat or drink anything to avoid having to go to the bathroom once she slipped into her dress.

‘I didn’t wee for seven hours… I didn’t drink any water because I knew I couldn’t take my dress off,’ she explained.

Domenica explained that while she loved being able to attend the Logie Awards, having to dress up was torture.

‘I thought I was either going to pass out or start screaming, but you just keep going,’ she said.

Meanwhile, Ella, admitted to feeling ‘outside her comfort zone’.

‘I didn’t feel very confident in it because it just didn’t feel like me,’ she said.
