Taking to her Instagram stories on Tuesday night, Jade, 27, hit back at backlash over her lengthy nails, insisting they do not hinder her daily activities.
The Gold Coast mother-of-one demonstrated how she peels fruit without damaging her nails.
‘Honestly guys, I have so many of you saying, “How does she do anything with those nails? She probably doesn’t even clean house.” My house gets cleaned every day,’ Jade insisted.
‘I would just like to say these nails can’t even stop me peeling an orange.’

‘If I had to peel this orange with my nails, my nails would literally snap off. So, here’s a spoon,’ she explained while using a spoon to break through the orange’s skin.
‘And honestly, it turns out perfectly. I do wonder how I’m so genius sometimes. I do amaze myself if I’m being honest.’

Jade’s kitchen hack just comes days after her and her partner Ridge Barredo moved in together on the Gold Coast following Ridge’s move from Sydney.
Ridge gushed over his girlfriend Jade and her daughter Victoria, eight, as he shared his delight over relocating to live with them.
He penned: ‘We really did go from ‘can’t wait to see you next’ to ‘see you at home.’ After 6 months I’ve finally made the move to the GC to be with my girl.
‘It hasn’t been the easiest of roads with the ups and downs and all the rest of it but we did actually make it.
‘I’ve finally settled in here and I’m so excited to continue to grow our lives together with little V #lovewins.’
Jade commented on his post: ‘Glad you’re here with us. Now I only have to check your location to see how far you are from home.’
