MAFS: Cam and Lyndall ‘no longer speaking’ after bitter break-up

The cracks in their relationship widened at Wednesday’s dinner party, but things are only going to get worse for MAFS stars Lyndall Grace and Cameron Woods.

The former golden couple are no longer together three months after filming wrapped on the show’s tenth season, and the situation is so bad they aren’t even speaking to each other.

‘The lines of communication broke down completely’ after they broke up at the final vows, an insider told Daily Mail Australia on Friday.

The news of their split will come as no surprise given how toxic things have become for the pair, both 27, on the show in the last week.

Cam told Lyndall at the most recent dinner party there was no point in her moving from Perth to the Northern Territory to live with him because he works in the outback for ‘six months to a year’ without phone reception.

Even if they were to both live in the NT, he said they would still be in a long-distance relationship because of his career as a carpenter.

‘The biggest concern after this experiment is where I’m going to be at. I’ve spent the last eight years focusing on my career to get to the position I’m at now,’ he said.

‘I told her, “What’s the point of moving from Perth when I’m not going to be in Darwin? I’m going to be remote.”‘

This revelation devastated city girl Lyndall, who felt like all the effort she had put into Cam was for nothing if they had no future together.

Viewers were equally baffled by the about-turn in their romance, as Cam and Lyndall had seemed to be a perfect match at the start of the experiment.

Wednesday’s dinner party ended up being the beginning of the end for the couple, who viewers had been rooting for since the first week.

Daily Mail Australia can exclusively reveal they limped on to the end of the season before ending their marriage at the final vows.

While neither Cameron nor Lyndall has publicly commented on the break-up, a source said there was a lot of tension and fighting in their relationship.

‘Lyndall lets Cam have it during the final vows, and he was not impressed with her one bit,’ the insider said.

‘Lyndall does not hold back and completely savages the poor guy. He was completely dumbfounded by it.’

But Cam’s job as an outback tradie wasn’t the only problem in their relationship.

One cast member told Daily Mail Australia things started to fall apart when he objected to the way his wife was ‘thriving off the other couples’ drama’.

‘He realised they were different people when Lyndall was getting stuck into other people’s business at the dinner parties and commitment ceremonies,’ said a spy.

‘They might look good on paper, but in real life they just kept clashing.’

The source added: ‘Her meddling in others’ relationships really got to him.

‘Cam is a drama-free guy, but she wanted to insert herself in anything she could find in order to be on camera. Few in the cast had time for Lyndall; we saw her as performative.’

Married At First Sight continues on Sunday at 7pm on Channel Nine
