MAFS Carly is ‘resilient and strong’ following split with Justin

Married At First Sight’s Carly Bowyer FINALLY left her TV ‘husband’ on Sunday, after weeks of trying to make their failed romance thrive on the controversial show.

And despite walking away single and loveless, the former bride said she could hold her head high knowing she ‘put in a great deal of effort’ with Justin Fischer.

The marketing manager, 32, took to Instagram after the split to reflect upon her decision to leave, witing: ‘I learnt how resilient and strong I am as a person and I walk away knowing what I deserve – and it’s a lot more than what Justin could give me!’

Carly said she had no regrets and was proud of how she conducted herself through the televised social experiment with ‘integrity and honesty’.

However, Carly remains silent on pictures that showed a steamy exchange between herself and co-star Troy Delmege, who is ‘married’ to Ashley Irvin.

‘I went into the experiment with an open mind and was so hopeful that I would find the love of my life,’ she began.

‘I always thought that I knew what I wanted in a man but sometimes you think you know what you want but you don’t always know what you need. I do now,’ Carly said, before inviting her Prince Charming to ‘come find me’.

On Sunday’s Married At First Sight, Carly and Justin finally put an end to their doomed romance at the commitment ceremony.

As expected, they didn’t go out quietly, with Carly making her exit as dramatic as possible.

Carly and Justin weren’t the only couples to call it, as Gabrielle and Nasser also parted ways on the night.

‘I don’t want to give up,’ she said while seated on the couch in front of the experts.

‘But if there’s one thing that I have learned from this experiment,’ she continued. ‘And that’s what I deserve, and what I deserve is a lot more than what you can give me.’

The 32-year-old then removed her wedding ring and shoved it back to Justin.

‘So I would like you to take this ring back, and I will be leading tonight,’ she said as she held up the ‘leave’ card.

Prior to revealing her vote, the brown-haired marketing manager slammed Justin over the infamous boys’ night out which saw the grooms engage in some locker room talk about their wives.

‘You’re 41 and single, don’t you think you needed to come here and maybe try and do something differently?’ she asked.

‘And for me to hear that there were disrespectful things said about me at the boys’ night, it’s EXTREMELY insulting,’ she continued.

‘I don’t know why you would do that.’

Justin attempted to defend himself, explaining to Carly that what happened during the infamous night wasn’t exactly what she thought.

‘I thought it was quite a boring night,’ he said. ‘We joked around.’
