Married At First Sight star Coco Stedman has lifted the lid on her secret lip lift surgery, a day after debuting her dramatic new look on Instagram.
Posting to Instagram Stories on Tuesday, the Sydney-based Pilates instructor responded to fans who were confused about how she managed to undergo cosmetic surgery during Covid lockdown.
‘You can get elective surgery in lockdown,’ Coco explained.

‘I had to get surgery inside my mouth for something else so whilst I was under I was like, let’s do this,’ she added.
Coco went on to claim that many women have used Covid stay-at-home orders to get work done in secret.
‘There are that many girls who have gotten nose jobs, boob jobs, and BBLs [Brazilian Butt Lifts] in lockyD – y’all ain’t ready for what’s going to emerge this summer [laughing-crying emoji]’.

A lip lift is an in-office surgical procedure that shortens the space between the nose and the top of the lip, according to healthline.
It is favoured by people looking to increase the height of the lips, but not the volume which is usually done through fillers.
The brunette also responded to questions about how she was feeling post-surgery.

Coco responded by posting a photo of herself lying in bed with newly-inserted stitches beneath her nose, swollen lips and a bandage across her face.
‘Lip lift alone would be OK. Probably a lil brutal,’ Coco replied.
‘Pain is worse now. My BF is one of the funniest people I know and when I laugh (I try not to) but it feels like you’re getting slice by a hot knife,’ she lamented.

In her final post, Coco directed a message squarely at her critics, writing: ‘The reason I’ve chosen to share about the lift is cause I haaaaate people who get things done and then lie’.

Coco first shared the results of her lip lift surgery via Instagram on Tuesday, uploading several photos of herself posing with larger-looking lips.
‘Full transparency – I didn’t get my lips done. I got a lip lift,’ she wrote at on Instagram at the time.
‘You can ask me anything you want about it,’ she told her fans, adding: ‘If you’re thinking about getting one, but if you’re a Karen whose against surgery etc jog on.’
Coco is remembered for her controversial fling with Cameron Dunne on this year’s season of Married At First Sight.
