MAFS final vows: Lyndall scathing takedown of husband Cameron

The second night of Married At First Sight’s final vows looks set to feature one of the most savage break-ups in the show’s history.

A trailer for Monday’s episode teases a brutal showdown between jilted bride Lyndall Grace and her commitment-phobic husband Cameron Wood.

The Perth-based accountant interrupts Cam before he has a chance to speak, then proceeds to tell the outback tradie how she really feels about him.

Their last goodbye comes after Cam admitted at the final dinner party he wasn’t falling in love with Lyndall and so couldn’t see himself moving interstate for her.

‘It’s definitely my time to be honest,’ Lyndall warns in a voice-over as she approaches her soon-to-be ex-husband.

The two stand before each other in a lush green meadow surrounded by colourful floral arrangements.

As Cam reaches for his notes so he can read his vows, Lyndall suddenly stops him.

‘Um, before you start,’ she says.

Cam looks unhappy by this interruption, and his expression gets even more sour as Lyndall begins to say her piece.

Lyndall and Cam are no longer together three months after filming wrapped on MAFS, and the situation is so bad they aren’t even speaking to each other.

‘The lines of communication broke down completely after they broke up at the final vows,’ an insider told Daily Mail Australia earlier this month.

It comes after the final dinner party on last Wednesday’s episode where Cam admitted in front of the other couples he wasn’t falling in love with Lyndall.

When the topic of moving interstate was brought up, he explained he was open to ‘compromising’ his remote work in the Northern Territory to move to Lyndall’s home city of Perth, or allow her to move to Darwin – but only if he was falling in love.

This is despite him saying earlier he wasn’t willing to sacrifice his career for love.

‘Are you just not ready for a relationship?’ fellow bride Bronte Schofield asked Cam.

‘I wouldn’t say I’m not ready for a relationship… Like, I love Lyndall as a person, I’m just not going down that path of falling in love,’ he replied.

As Lyndall, 27, attempted to keep her composure at the dinner party, she explained it was the first time she’d heard Cameron say he couldn’t see himself falling for her.

She excused herself from the table to head to the cocktail lounge before breaking down in tears as the other brides rushed to comfort her.

‘I just feel like I’ve been dumped for the third time in a week,’ she said through tears.

Back at the table, grooms Ollie Skelton and Duncan James politely told Cameron to stop leading Lyndall on if that was how he really felt about her.

Outspoken bride Evelyn Ellis then stormed back to the table to speak on Lyndall’s behalf, tearing into Cameron in a savage tirade.

‘Cam, you are such an a**hole,’ she yelled.

‘You’ve strung her along this whole entire time and for her to hear this in front of everyone is a low f**king blow.’

‘Is it?’ Cameron asked sarcastically. ‘That’s no good.’

Evelyn continued: ‘Yeah, it is a low f**king blow. You should be ashamed of yourself!’

‘Don’t trip on your way out,’ Cameron told her, clearly unbothered, as Evelyn stormed back to a crying Lyndall.

Married At First Sight continues Monday at 7:30pm on Channel Nine and 9Now
