The publication quoted Troy Vod, guitarist for Sydney-based heavy metal act Neptune Power Federation, who claimed the band were never paid after they opened for US punk rock ‘n’ rollers Nashville Pu**y.
‘He said we didn’t send an invoice, and when we sent a second one, he sent an email that said the tour books are closed, too bad,’ Troy told the publication. ‘The second invoice was sent maybe five weeks after the gig. I think it was $250 we were owed, which basically was (just) paying for the sound guy.’
