MAFS: Ollie Skelton calls out washed-up former groom Nasser Sultan

MAFS star Ollie Skelton calls out washed-up former groom Nasser Sultan after he gatecrashed his date with Tahnee Cook: ‘Really, dude?’

Married At First Sight’s Ollie Skelton has called out the desperate former groom who tried to barge in on homestays in order to get on camera.

Ollie, 26, and wife Tahnee Cook were filming a scene in an op-shop in Bondi, Sydney, in November when they noticed Nasser Sultan, a contestant from the 2018 season, following them around and trying to get on camera.

He told Yahoo Lifestyle it was obvious to both him and Tahnee that Nasser, 55, was hoping to be featured on the show, and when this didn’t work he tried to take photos with the couple in the background.

‘He asked the person who was working there to take some photos. However, the photos were “coincidentally” with us in the background,’ Ollie said.

‘I knew he was just subtly taking a photo of us. I think you can see my eyes, I’m going, “Really dude?”‘

Ollie said he had no idea who Nasser was because he had not watched prior seasons of MAFS, and Tahnee had to tell him about his infamous reputation.

‘Tahnee clued me in that he was on a previous season. He took the photos and then dipped out. I’ve never spoken to him in my life, but I wish him all the best,’ he added.

It comes after Nasser, who is notorious for gatecrashing red carpet events, tried to get on camera while Tahnee and Ollie were filming Homestay Week.

As producers followed the young couple around Sydney’s eastern suburbs, Nasser pestered the crew to film a scene with him.

‘Nasser saw them setting up to film and followed them around Bondi, asking producers if he could do a scene with Ollie and Tahnee,’ a source said.

‘The crew said no and tried to get rid of him, but he crashed it anyway and introduced himself. Ollie and Tahnee totally blanked him and it was super awkward.’

Photos showed Nasser awkwardly standing behind Tahnee and Ollie as they spoke to producers while filming a scene in an op-shop.

But in a brutal snub, all footage of Nasser was edited out in post-production and he was not shown on screen at any point during Homestay Week.
