Telv Williams has thrown his name into the ring after Stu Laundy’s upcoming boxing match against Sonny Bill Williams was labelled ‘unsafe’ by government officials.
Daily Mail Australia can reveal that the Married At First Sight star, who is a keen amateur boxer, is happy to offer the former Bachelorette winner a fairer fight instead.
A source close to the 34-year-old said: ‘Telv’s been telling people he’ll fight Stu any day of the week and is planning on reaching out to him.’
EXCLUSIVE: Throwing his name in the ring: MAFS’ Telv Williams, 34, ‘wants a boxing match against Stu Laundy’ who is soon to have his first public fight
Telv’s offer comes after it was announced that Stu, 45, is set to fight heavyweight boxer Sonny Bill Williams, 33, in a charity boxing match in December.
However, their plans could be in jeopardy after it was labelled ‘unsafe’ by government officials.
Shadow Minister for Sport Lynda Voltz told The Daily Telegraph on Friday that pitting a reality TV star against a former professional boxer is risky and unfair.

She added that the law states only professionals can compete in professional fights.
‘While Stuart Laundy might work out at the gym, there is nothing in his CV that suggests he should be stepping into the ring,’ Lynda said.
‘Sonny Bill Williams on the other hand is an elite athlete, a ferocious and talented rugby player and former professional heavyweight boxer of New Zealand.’
When approached by Daily Mail Australia for comment, Stu’s rep Max Markson insisted his fight against Sonny will still be going ahead.
He said: ‘The information about the fight being unsafe is #fakenews. No application has been submitted yet to the relevant authorities.
‘We trust that when our application is considered it will be successful based on its merits.
‘With regards to MAFS Telv wishing to fight Stu, unfortunately Stu can’t fight both Sonny Bill Williams and Telv on the same night.’

The celebrity manager then added: ‘Love Island’s Grant Crapp is up for a fight and would be happy to beat Telv if he is fit enough to take on the Love Island winner.
‘Perhaps they could have a match with the winner getting the role as the next Bachelor on Channel 10?
‘Alternatively Telv could be one of the ring card girls and guys on the night?’
‘Some call it brave, I might call it stupid, but I’ve been throwing drunks out of pubs for 30 years,’ millionaire publican Stu told Daily Mail Australia earlier this week.
‘Sonny’s got me in bulk and muscle… and probably athleticism as well.
‘But I’ve done quite a lot of sparring throughout my life, and I’ve had experience throwing punches.’
Sonny Bill is undefeated in seven fights and is a former New Zealand Heavyweight Champion.
Daily Mail Australia has contacted Telv comment.
