A source claimed the scenes make the ‘drama of last year look like an episode of Antiques Roadshow’, referring to when 2021 contestants Megan Wolfe and Jordan Mundell kissed, despite being hitched to other people.
Although they didn’t announce the names of the pair who strayed, the show has already seen an infidelity; April Banbury cheated on father-of-four husband George Roberts on their honeymoon with a female hotel guest.

The source told the publication: ‘One of the wives decides to run off with another husband, and it will cause absolute chaos when the truth comes out.’
‘It’s going to be a massive talking point, both on the show, and also amongst viewers. It will blow the experiment wide open and be hugely dramatic. Fans won’t see it coming.’

‘He did not expect her to behave in such a way once they had committed to each other and the experiment and for him it was massively disappointing.
‘April said that the kiss happened as part of a dare but it’s still not what you expect from your wife while you’re on honeymoon together.
‘The trust was instantly broken – George shouldn’t have to worry about April kissing anyone else while he’s not around.’

April told George, who shares three daughters and a son with his ex-wife, that she’s uncertain children are in her future after her own mother abandoned her when she was eight years old, and she’s since struggled with rejection.
She explained: ‘My issues that I have in my love life stem from rejection. When I was eight years old my mum left and I felt so rejected by her. I felt what did I do wrong? Why didn’t you want me? Why didn’t you love me?
‘I was raised by my dad and my Nan. I was lucky that I had the support of my Nan. She gave me everything and I felt so lucky to have her. I always thought I was to get married then she’d be there. Her passing pushed me to start finding myself again and I moved to London.’
