Magazine claims House Rules host Johanna Griggs, 44, dropped 5kg in two weeks without dieting

Johanna Griggs, 44, reportedly lost five kilos in two weeks without dieting.

The House Rules host rapidly shed weight, toned up and developed biceps through healthy eating and incidental exercise, according to Woman’s Day on Monday.

‘She lost 5kg in a few weeks after making just a few changes. But she doesn’t starve herself or make a big deal about watching her weight,’ an insider claimed.

‘She’s this unfailingly positive person who actually likes the way she looks, whether a few kilos under or over where she wants to be,’ the source added.

‘She never talks negatively about her weight, whatever it is. With this attitude she’s just so incredibly refreshing to be around and it does seem to be a big advantage when it comes to slimming down.’

The former Olympic swimmer has reportedly stopped snacking and makes a conscious effort to eat whole foods like porridge for breakfast, light rye sandwiches or salad for lunch, and white meats like chicken or fish with vegetables for dinner.

The source added that Johanna ‘hates gyms’ but manages to still get in exercise by farming and lifting ‘bales of hay’ alongside her husband Todd Huggins.

Johanna shares two sons with her ex-husband Gary Sweet – 22-year-old Jesse and Joe, 21, who is himself a parent.

In March, the Better Home and Gardens host became a grandmother to Jax Theodore Sweet, who is now four months old.

She recently said of son Joe’s new arrival: ‘When you see your baby holding a baby, “surreal” is the best word to describe it.’

Joe Sweet and his partner Katie welcomed Jax into the world on March 4.

When initially told she was going to be a grandmother at just 44 years of age, the TV personality was thrilled.

‘Oh, man – we were that excited. You’ve got to remember I had children young too [Joe was born when Joh was 22], so it was such a great thing and so exciting,’ she said.

Joh’s husband, Todd, was also immediately smitten with Jax.

‘Todd and I couldn’t have kids, so to see him with Jax is one of the most beautiful things I’ve seen in my life. He just loves that little baby,’ she added.
