The Prime Minister turned some heads with an interesting wardrobe addition during his Queensland tour.

The nation’s leader swapped his usual white business shirt for a long navy jacket completing his look for the tour of the small family run business.

Other people accompanying Mr Turnbull, including camera crews, were pictured wearing a less appealing outfit consisting of a vibrant green hair net and baby blue single-use jackets.

Mr Turnbull was given a tour of the factory on Wednesday, the first of a three-day Queensland visit.

The tour was used to highlight energy prices in Australia, however it is not expected Mr Turnbull’s Queensland visit will include any major announcements.

The photos come weeks after the Prime Minister was slammed online for posting a photograph of himself holding a beer at a football game while nursing his baby granddaughter.

Mr Turnbull responded to the ‘crazy trolls’ saying ‘you’ve just got to be yourself’.

‘You end up being as crazy as the trolls on Twitter if you do anything else,’ he told Triple M radio station.
