Malcolm Turnbull has thrown his support behind Donald Trump’s decision to order precision airstrikes in Syria.
The move was announced by the US president Friday evening in retaliation for Bashar al-Assad’s ‘evil and despicable’ poison gas attack that killed at least 60 people last weekend.
A statement released from prime minister Turnbull Saturday revealed Australia had taken action against the Syrian regime’s illegal use of chemical weapons on April 7.
