Male victim is airlifted to hospital after ‘being chased down the street and stabbed’ in north London

  • An air ambulance and police were called to a scene in Sanders Lane, Mill Hill
  • A man was stabbed and is currently being transported to hospital, police said 

A man has been stabbed in north London, the Metropolitan police have confirmed to MailOnline.

A London air ambulance and police were called to a scene in Sanders Lane, Mill Hill shortly after 4.30pm.  

The victim is currently being transported to hospital via air ambulance and his condition and age are not yet known.

A police cordon remains is in place on Sanders Lane.

Footage shared on social media shows a helicopter taking off from the area.  

A Scotland Yard spokeswoman said: ‘Police were called at around 16:30 hours to a stabbing in Sanders Lane, NW7.

‘Officers attended along with London’s air ambulance and the London Ambulance Service.

‘A man was found with stab injuries and was airlifted to an east London hospital. We await an update on his condition.’
