Malia Obama and boyfriend Rory Farquharson are seen at Yale-Harvard game

Malia Obama and her British boyfriend Rory Farquharson attended the Harvard-Yale football game over the weekend — two years after they were seen kissing at the same Ivy League matchup in November 2017.

The 21-year-old Harvard student and her longtime boyfriend made the trip from Cambridge, Massachusetts, to New Haven, Connecticut, to attend the annual rivalry game that was held at the Yale Bowl on Saturday.

The former first daughter, who is in her junior year, was seen chatting and laughing with Rory and their friends as they made their way into the stadium to see the two archrivals duke it out on the field.

Malia donned a tan ribbed turtleneck and leggings, which she paired with an oversized jean jacket that she wrapped around herself to keep warm.

She topped off her casual fall look with a pair of cozy crew socks that peeked out from her lace-up boots and fingerless gloves.

Her curly hair was pulled half-up with a few tendrils framing her face, and she had a smile on her face while milling around with her friends.

Malia wasn’t carrying a handbag or backpack at the time, but she was seen holding what looked like a pack of cigarettes.

She has been spotted smoking on numerous occasions and appears to have inherited her father’s weakness for nicotine.

Former President Barack Obama was also a regular smoker prior to entering the White House and was seen chewing on Nicorette gum several times to fight the habit.

Rory, meanwhile, donned a red coat over a black sweatshirt and faded black jeans. Like Malia, he wore boots to the game, and he had on round sunglasses to shield his eyes from the afternoon sun.

There was plenty of drama at the game, which was delayed for nearly an hour after climate change protesters stormed the field at halftime wearing both Harvard and Yale’s colors.

They staged a sit-in at midfield of Yale Bowl, with some holding a banner asking the schools’ presidents to divest from the fossil fuel industry. Other signs referred to Puerto Rican debt and the treatment of the Uighurs.

Most people walked off after about an hour with a police escort, but between 20 and 30 people were arrested, released, and given a court date, protest organizers said.

Rachel Sadoff, a junior at Harvard, said about 150 students from the two universities planned to participate and about 100 more who had been sitting in the stands joined in.

When the game finally resumed, the Yale Bulldogs rallied from a 17-point, fourth-quarter deficit. The team won 50-43 in double overtime to clinch the Ivy League championship and conclude one of the strangest editions in the rivalry’s 144-year history.

The game was somewhat of an anniversary for Malia and Rory, who met as students at Harvard two years ago.

He first entered the media spotlight when he was caught passionately kissing her before the Harvard-Yale football game in November 2017.

Malia’s boyfriend is a former head boy at Rugby School, one of the top ‘public’ schools in the United Kingdom that falls just a rung below the more famous Eton and Harrow.

According to insiders, he was considered ‘quite a catch’ in high school. Rugby charges more than $42,500 (£32,000) a year for tuition and board and is well-known for giving the world the game of rugby.

The Ivy League student also has links to the royals, as his second cousin was the Queen’s Assistant Master of the Household at Buckingham Palace.

After enjoying a gap year, Malia started at Harvard in 2017, following in the footsteps of her father and mother Michelle, who both studied law at the prestigious university.

Malia is just a few days away from her Thanksgiving vacation, which officially starts on Wednesday. It’s unclear where her family will be spending the holiday their third year out of the White House.
