Long locks: The 24-year-old make-up artist took to Twitter on Tuesday to share a snap of her newly-sheared locks as she revealed the news that she had donated her hair to The Princess Trust

Battle: Alongside her latest snap, she shared a devastating note reading: ‘For those asking why. My mum is currently battling cancer for the third time an it’s spread. I’ll be posting some more pics of my hair tomorrow for you all’
She courted attention once again when she spent £7,000 on a boob uplift, bum lift and liposuction around her stomach in April.
Malin claimed her new look may have helped her confidence on the show as she was always pining after the figures of her fellow Love Islanders.
She told heat magazine: ‘All the girls had sick t*ts. Every time the camera moved, I’d be adjusting my bra and shoving stuff down there.’
Praising her new shape, she added: ‘Now I can wear everything tight I’ll be like, “Damn!” and I’m taking selfies left, right and centre.’
Struggles: Since then she has dipped in and out of the showbiz circuit particularly after indulging in £7,000 worth of surgery earlier this year
Sad times: Despite her amazing gesture, one follower was not convinced by the move as one penned: ‘you donated your extensions you got 2 weeks ago? Lol ohhhh yup’
But despite already planning to have more work done, the make-up artist has insisted she knows when to draw the line when it comes to surgery.
She claimed that asides from lip fillers she hasn’t touched her face and insisted: ‘My body is something I’ve always wanted to fix, so I’m happy I’ve had it done.’
Malin made her Love Island debut last summer – after originally appearing on Paddy McGuinness’ Take Me Out.
