Chantel has shared the formula for a DIY spray that removes sweat stains from clothes in just ten minutes using a mixture of hydrogen peroxide and dishwashing liquid
Chantel mixes in two parts of hydrogen peroxide with one part of dishwashing liquid in order to create the spray.
She then pours the mixture into a bottle and sprays it on the stained clothes, leaving it to soak for ten minutes.
‘The powerful mixture will lift the stain right off,’ she said.
She then washes the clothes in a washing machine as per usual.
While the trick is usually used on white clothes, Chantel said 3% hydrogen peroxide and a shorter soak time should work fine on dark clothes.
However, she still recommends patch testing beforehand as different materials might react differently to the DIY mixture.
