Mamie Laverock, 19, of When Calls The Heart fame is on life support after ‘multiple extensive surgeries’ from falling off balcony on 5 story building

Mamie Laverock is on life support after she suffered a tragic fall.

The When Calls the Heart actress has serious injuries after falling from a balcony walkway located on the fifth floor of a building.

Her parents said: ‘She sustained life-threatening injuries, has undergone multiple extensive surgeries, and is currently on life support. We are all devastated, in shock, at this intensely difficult time.’

The 19-year-old first had a ‘medical emergency’ on May 11 and was taken by her mother Nicole Compton to the hospital in Winnipeg.

It was stated on a GoFundMe account that Nicole had ‘saved her daughter’s life’ by doing so.

Then Mamie was taken to a Vancouver hospital. ‘We are trying to go every day to support her. Any contributions would help us be by her side,’ it was shared.

But at some point she fell five stories off a walkway, it was then claimed, causing the intense injuries.

‘We are deeply saddened to report that on May 26th, Mamie, who has been in intensive treatment for the past two weeks, was escorted out of a secure unit of the hospital and taken up to a balcony walkway from which she fell five stories. She sustained life threatening injuries, has undergone multiple extensive surgeries, and is currently on life support,’ it was written on a GoFundMe campaign created by her family.

When Calls the Heart costar Erin Krakow donated to the family’s fund which asked for $10,000.

‘I just donated. If you have the means to do so, I hope you will too,’ wrote Erin.

Johannah Newmarch, who plays Laverock’s on-screen mother Molly Sullivan, also shared her support in a post on X (formerly Twitter).

‘I love this family, my heart is broken. A devastating time for all who care for Mamie. Please help if you can,’ Newmarch, 52, wrote on May 27.

‘They need all the support they can get to make it through this.’

Laverock got her start in 2012’s This Means War starring Reese Witherspoon, Chris Pine and Tom Hardy.

She later reprised her role in 2023 for the show’s 10th season.

Her role was cut, however.

And she was in the 2017 horror The Hollow Child, Netflix’s A Series of Unfortunate Events in 2019 and the 2020 Lifetime movie Spotlight on Christmas.
