A 19-year-old man was tonight in a critical condition after being stabbed in the chest on a London bus.
The teenager was aboard the 134 bus in Muswell Hill, North London – with Scotland Yard officers called to reports of a stabbing at around 4.40pm.
Ambulance crew members were seen treating the man near a bus stop on Colney Hatch Lane just before Cromwell Road.

He was airlifted to hospital where he remains in a critical condition. There have been no arrests.
The critical incident comes at a time when 26 knife murders took place across the UK from Tuesday January 1st to Thursday March 7. The graphic below shows that the majority of those knife murders took place in London.
A Met Police spokesman said: ‘Anyone with information is asked to call Barnet CID on 101 quoting reference 5259/9MAR, Tweet @MetCC or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
‘If there are any young people who either have information about violence or knife crime, they can visit www.fearless.org where they can pass on information anonymously’.
