Man, 24, is accused of raping a woman at a bus stop

A 24-year-old man has been accused of raping a woman near a bus stop in Darwin.

The woman told police she was sexually assaulted near Casuarina bus exchange at about 2.20pm on Thursday.

The man was arrested about four hours later and has been charged with one count of sexual intercourse without consent.

He will appear at Darwin Local Court on Monday.
