A man has died of stab wounds after being threatened and attacked during a violent home invasion.
The 36-year-old was stabbed by a group of men who forced their way into his home on Livingston Avenue, Dharruk, in Sydney’s west on Friday night.
Police and emergency services were called to the scene about 9.45pm after reports of a home invasion.

New South Wales Ambulance paramedics treated the man at the scene but he died while being taken to hospital.
The group of men were last seen on Kilbridge Avenue, heading east after fleeing the scene.
A crime scene was established by officers from the Mount Druitt Police Area Command, assisted by the State Crime Command’s Homicide Squad.
