Man, 50, is charged with murder after woman, 27, was found ‘bludgeoned to death and drowned’ in the Blue Mountains

  • Police arrested a 50-year-old man, from Bowenfels, at around 11am on Thursday  

A man has been charged over the alleged domestic-related murder of 27-year-old Jenoa Sutton in the NSW Blue Mountains nearly eight years ago.

Police said they charged a 50-year-old man with murder after he was arrested at a business in Katoomba about 11am on Thursday. 

A post-mortem examination found she died of a head injury and drowning.

The Bowenfels man was refused bail to appear at Penrith Local Court on Friday.
