A man has been arrested after these photos were posted to social media showing two men
The man was arrested after photos were posted to social media showing two men outside the mosque’s gate pulling obscene gestures.
The incident had shocked Muslim leaders, with Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Queensland spokesman Zaid Baig, saying it was a ‘disturbing sight’ according to the Sydney Morning Herald.
Despite the insulting nature of the deposit, Mr Baig said they were considering it as a gift.
‘We would be delighted to return the favour by having a heart-to-heart over a delicious meal,’ he said.
‘Even though an investigation is ongoing, we earnestly encourage the person who may have left the animal’s head at the mosque to contact us and get to know the community.’
Mr Baig said pigs were not considered to be cursed under the Muslim faith and they were allowed to eat pig’s meat in a matter of life or death.
