A man has been arrested for disturbing his neighbours with ‘hardcore pornographic sounds played through a loudspeaker in his garden.’

Residents complained to police after hearing the soundtrack of porn films being played in his garden.

Parents said they had to cover their children’s ears when they began asking about the shouts and screams.

The porn-playing allegations are among a series of claims made to police by locals in Garden Close, Bungay, Suffolk.

They said the man was also ‘writing sinister letters with vulgar undertones to neighbours, steals from gardens and vandalises property’.

One woman, who asked not to be named, said: ‘You wouldn’t believe the horror which has been brought to the community.

‘With the dark evenings now here we are all scared.

‘This has been going on for so long. He steals from gardens, throws food at homes, walks up to people’s homes and posts letters with sickening messages.

‘He also plays porn through a speaker and makes it clear to the neighbours what he is doing, it is just sick.

‘There are people here raising families and elderly people who are frightened and genuinely fear for their safety, but nothing is done about it.

‘This person scares us all on the road.’
