An American man was caught on video attempting a trick into a backyard pool which goes painfully wrong.
It appears the man, clad in red swimming trunks, was trying to jump from a plastic folding table into the pool.
But instead, he slips on the table, falls on his butt, and glides gracelessly across the table and into the pool.

The table is littered with red solo cups which go flying on impact.
His friend, who films the interaction, is heard saying ‘Go’.
After the failed jump, the filming friend guffaws.
Liveleak indicates that the action in the video, which has been viewed more than 1,000 times since being uploaded this morning, occurred on October 2.
Much of the United States has been experiencing significantly warmer weather than usual this fall.
It is not clear exactly where the video was filmed.
But the man’s attempted trick was unsuccessful. Instead, he fell on his buttocks, skidded across the table and plopped butt-first into the pool
