In the clip, the much smaller man can be seen challenging his bigger and stronger friend to a David and Goliath-style bout.
The instantly regretful incident happened at a friend’s home in southern China, where the group appeared to have had one too many drinks.
The pair position themselves on a low plastic stool and lock their left arms in place for the start of the match.
The pair begin to arm-wrestle and are evenly matched for a few seconds – but then the poor man’s arm gives way in a loud crack.
His elbow joint appears to snap and his arm can be seen twisted in the wrong direction.

His friends – including his arm-wrestling opponent – immediately recognise the horrific injury and immediately stop the match.
Amazingly, the man appears to neither scream nor cry as he is slowly helped up and away from the stool – presumably to a hospital.
