Man builds 19ft Star Wars vehicle replica for Halloween

A man from Ohio went all out for Halloween this year after building an epic two-story (19-foot) Star Wars vehicle replica.

The Meyer family from Parma showcased their incredible creation in their yard, much to the delight of their fellow neighbors.

Nick Meyer built a replica four-legged All Terrain Armored Transport, or AT-AT walker, nearly as tall as his Parma home, according to Cleveland.com.

Meyer said he used wood, hard foam and plastic barrels and began building it in April.

Despite the incredible product, he isn’t a Star Wars fanatic but he simply thought the display would be unique.

He said: ‘That is an imperial armored transporter from Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back.’

Apparently this has become a Halloween tradition for the Meyer family, something both his wife and neighbors endorse.

‘I love it, I encourage it,’ Nick’s wife Becky Meyer said.

The couple revealed that everyone in the neighborhood loves it and that people continuously take photos in front of the giant creation.

His next door neighbor Amber Johnson said: ‘Last year was pretty awesome, and he topped it.’

‘This is our fourth year living next door to them, and we love it,’ she continued.

The Meyer family are already thinking about next years creation as they said they’re going to put out a suggestion box.
