A P-plate driver has allegedly been caught masturbating while watching a video on his phone after being pulled over by police for a random breath test.
A 45-year-old man was pulled over on Maitland Road in Mayfield, Newcastle about 10.15pm on Thursday.
He was pulled over for a random breath test, but police discovered a much more concerning act happening in the car.

Police approached the vehicle and allegedly found the man masturbating while watching a ‘certain video’ on his phone.
‘Police immediately directed the embarrassed male to zip up his pants,’ a post from the New South Wales Police Traffic and Highway Patrol Command read.
The man was a provisional P1 driver’s licence holder at the time he was pulled over.
He was driving a white Mitsubishi when police attempted to perform the random breath test.
Red P-plates were visible on the back of the car, and a photo of it was taken by a police officer at the scene.
