The man who was choked out by UFC legend Nate Diaz in a New Orleans street fight has vowed to get his revenge while showing off the gruesome repercussions of the tussle.

Diaz was in Louisiana for Avila’s victory over Paul Bamba in the main event at Misfits Boxing 6 – but also found himself in a fight too.

The former welterweight star, who is set to fight Jake Paul in a boxing match in August, was seen on video wrapping his arm around the Rodney Peterson’s neck, leaving him out cold on the floor.

‘I don’t know what the hell I did to Nate Diaz,’ Peterson said in a video posted to Twitter.

‘But I tell you what, I’m going to knock him the f*** out when I know he’s coming. You caught me off-guard dude.

WARNING: FOUL LANGUAGE

‘What? Did you think I was Logan,’ Peterson, who bears resemblance to Logan Paul, said.

A woman nearby could be heard pleading for Diaz and the man to ‘stop’ before Diaz leaves the man lying on the pavement.

In another video which shows UFC boss Dana White reacting to the viral clip, he is heard asking if the man taken down by Diaz is Logan Paul, brother of Jake.

He then adds: ‘He knocked him out! Whoever that is he knocked him out.

‘That guy’s head bounced like a f***ing basketball.’

With his head resting in one hand, White concluded: ‘He’s going to get sued like a motherf****r’.’

He did find an unlikely ally in Conor McGregor, with the Irishman tweeting: ‘Hahaha Nate on a rampage tonight! Let’s go Nate! Hahaha.’

Diaz has not fought professionally since September 2022 when competing at UFC 279 against Donald Ferguson, a fight he went on to win.

From 36 fights he has 21 wins but has not lost his tough edge – as shown on the street in New Orleans.

Diaz earlier caused a scuffle inside the venue when he threw a water bottle at reality TV star Chase DeMoor, per MMA Fighting.

He was sat ringside and while it is unclear what set the altercation off, Diaz was furious as he turned around.

The pair clashed and DeMoor later warned on Twitter ‘next time don’t run’ in a clear shot at Diaz.

‘Nate Diaz decided to get mad and throw a prime bottle on me, that’s cute bro,’ DeMoor tweeted.

‘Just next time don’t run. And stop spending your nights in the club trying to use your dried up MMA career to pull college girls while you’re out in New Orleans.’
