Manchester City players appeared to be in high spirits as they went through their final preparations before Champions League last-16 second leg clash with Schalke.
It was all smiles from the City stars as they had a light training session on Monday afternoon at their Etihad training base before the decisive match.
And there is good reason for such cause for optimism with City enjoying a terrific run of late which has seen them wrestle control back in the Premier League title race.

Pep Guardiola’s men will for now be fully focused on seeing the job through on Tuesday night when they take a one-goal advantage over Schalke into the second leg.
Mindful of the importance of the match, Guardiola did not seem to put his players through too strenuous exercises during Monday’s session.
Having seen their rivals United climb back from seemingly impossible depths last week to knock out Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid surprisingly crash out to Ajax, Guardiola will be looking for a professional display from his side.
The City boss kept a watchful eye over the session from the side with his assistant Rodolfo Borrello as his players seemed to enjoy being out on the pitch together.
