Pep Guardiola has opened up on how he discovered he had won his first Premier League title with Manchester City.
The City boss revealed he was driving home with his son after a round of golf, beer and chips with professional star Tommy Fleetwood when he heard rivals Manchester United had lost against West Bromwich Albion at Old Trafford, sealing their title.
In an honest chat on the Tubes & Ange Golf Life YouTube channel, Guardiola also claimed he loves golf because there are no referees like in football.

Speaking to Soccer AM presenter Tubes, Guardiola said: ‘One day we were playing golf and (for) our first Premier League, we were together.
‘We celebrated together because it was the moment West Brom won at Old Trafford and we were champions.
‘Driving back home, it was a good memory… we played golf, after we were in the bar at the golf club, taking some beer and chips, and we started to see the game (on TV), OK, 0-0, 0-0…
‘I went home with my son and we realised in the car West Brom won and we were champions and we spoke all together there. The day we were champions for the first time we were together with Tommy.’

The Spaniard, 51, who won his fourth Premier League title in five years last season, also admitted he likes the equality of golf.
He added: ‘I love golf because there are no referees there. It’s the most fair game ever. Everyone starts and finishes in the same position.
‘The fewer shots you get, you win the game. There are no excuses – if you are better, you win. There are no people around or outside. That’s nice, that’s perfect… In sport, luck doesn’t exist.’
He also revealed he would most like to play golf with his former coach and mentor, Barcelona legend Johan Cruyff, and former French international Alain Boghossian is the best golfer he knows when it comes to former footballers.
