A man has ‘thrown away 20 years of friendship’ after confessing to having an affair with his best mate’s mum when he was just 22.
Speaking to Kyle and Jackie O live on air Michael, 42, revealed his mate’s mum ‘came onto him’ when they were the last two standing after his friend’s 21st birthday.
He claimed one thing lead to another and they ended up having sex in the middle of the loungeroom, where anyone could have seen them.
‘I remember it clearly, it was at the end of the party and everything has simmered down,’ he said.
‘The father wasn’t around, and my friend went to his room with his girlfriend and fell asleep.’

To make matters worse the pair appeared to get on so well they decided it wouldn’t be a one-time thing – and started seeing each other casually for months.
‘She was definitely more experienced and taught me a few things.’
20 years on Michael admitted he no longer speaks to the older woman and wanted to come clean to his friend, out of respect for him.
When Kyle and Jackie O asked if he knew how John would react, Michael said: ‘I have no idea. He might brush it off, or he might be [upset]. I doubt he already knows.’
The shock jock even tried to convince Michael not to tell is mate, noting he would be devastated to hear about his own mum hooking up with his friends.
‘God, no one wants to picture their mum with their legs up,’ Kyle said.
Michael admitted to feeling bad lying to his friend for so long and decided to tell him the truth, as the controversial radio hosts sat uncomfortably on the line.
He got straight to the point.
‘John, I’ve thought about telling you this for 20 years but I’ve always backed out,’ he started. ‘I slept with your mum.’
John was shocked and found it hard to get words out.

He took to swearing profusely about the situation.
‘What the f**k do you mean? You f**ked my mum?’ he said. ‘You’re joking, everyone makes mistakes but this is big.’
Kyle then stepped in and revealed that it wasn’t just one time – and that Michael actually began a casual relationship with John’s mother.
‘It’s true,’ Michael said. ‘I would go over when I knew you weren’t home.’
‘I don’t know what to say, you’ve thrown away our friendship,’ John said. ‘I don’t know how I’m ever going to look at my mother the same.’
He went on, ‘I have nothing to say to you. I don’t know how you can be my friend and know you did that to me behind my back.’
‘I understand that it’s been eating away at you, but I would be shocked and devastated to find this out,’ said host Kyle Sandilands about the man’s tryst with his friend’s mother
John revealed that he was also upset with his mother and would not be speaking to her for the foreseeable future.
Once John and Michael were off the show, Kyle expressed regret at letting that situation transpire.
‘I didn’t like that at all, I regret being a part of it,’ he said. ‘I normally relish in this but it made me feel uncomfortable.’
