Tradie dies after he was crushed by a fibreglass pool while at work in Queensland
A man has died after a workplace incident in a warehouse south of Brisbane.
NCA Newswire understands a fibreglass pool fell on the man and crushed him inside of a company warehouse in Beaudesert, around 85km south of Brisbane City.
He sustained critical injuries from the incident that he was not able to recover from.
Police were called to an address on Doug Sullivan Court after the man suffered critical injuries.
‘Emergency services were called to a Doug Sullivan Court address just after 10am in relation to a workplace incident where the man was declared deceased,’ a police spokesman said.
‘No other patients were assessed at the scene,’ a Queensland Ambulance spokesman said.
Police are assisting Workplace Health and Safety Queensland’s investigation and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
