- Luke Littler beat Stephen Bunting 6-1 in his World Championship semi-final
- The game was marred by a crowd incident that saw a fan dragged out by security
Chaos unfolded during Luke Littler’s semi-final victory over Stephen Bunting on Thursday night as a fan was ejected from Alexandra Palace in embarrassing fashion.
Littler, 17, is set to take on Michael van Gerwen in the World Darts Championship final tonight after the Warrington-born star dispatched Bunting 6-1.
The 17-year-old has joined an exclusive group of players to qualify for back-to-back finals at the Worlds as he continues his meteoric rise in the sport over the past 12 months.
Littler earned more than £1million in prize money in 2024 and will be in line for a £500,000 pay cheque if he beats three-time champion Van Gerwen.
The teen sensation was in fine form on Thursday, but for the thousands of fans in attendance at Ally Pally, their attention was briefly diverted during the clash.
In a video that has since gone viral on social media, one fan can be seen being carried out of the arena by four security guards, with a further two following behind and one in front.

In a clip that has gone viral, the supporter was dragged out of Ally Pally by his arms and legs
The fan then tried to kick out at one of the security guards, causing a ruckus in the arena
To add further intrigue to the clip, the troubled supporter was dressed in a full Dalmatian outfit which included face paint.
As he was being taken out by his arms and legs, the individual attempted to free himself by kicking out at one of the security guards.
This led to a brief ruckus as one of the bouncers hit back at the fan and attempted to pin him down to stop him escaping.
This led to further chaos as another woman – who was presumably associated with the ejected fan – then attempted to fight with two female members of security, before she was quickly pinned too and had her arms held behind her back.
After a brief stoppage, the Dalmatian and female walked out of the arena while being held.
Nevertheless, fans made sure to give them stick on their way out, with several waving and singing ‘cheerio’ to rub salt into the wounds, including one hilariously dressed as Mario Kart character Luigi.
It is unclear as to why the fans were ejected.

Meanwhile, speaking ahead of Friday’s blockbuster event, Littler made sure to send out a warning to van Gerwen.
‘I’ve gained loads of experience. Obviously Michael has been in numerous finals and this is my second,’ Littler began.
‘I know where I went wrong last year and I’m sure I’ll fix it. I felt very confident tonight. The best I felt was against Nathan in the quarter-finals but I’m just glad I’m playing with confidence.
‘I’m hitting the shots when I needed to. Stephen was right behind me throughout the game and I just couldn’t step off the gas.
‘Everyone else is looking forward to it more than I am. But win seven sets and I’ll be happy.
‘It’d mean everything (to win). Win seven sets and I’ll be over the moon.’
