A man who ordered four cokes from a McDonald’s drive-thru before being found slumped over the wheel of his car may have been poisoned.

The man, aged in his 60’s, was found slurring his words and couldn’t keep eye contact as he sat in his car in the fast food restaurant’s car park.

Paramedics arrived at the Noble Park McDonald’s, in Melbourne’s south-east, at about 12.30pm on Tuesday afternoon following reports of a suspected poisoning.

It was reported he was rushed to Dandenong hospital.

Noble Park Mcdonald’s general manager Shehani Wick told the Sunshine Coast Daily the man had gone through the store’s drive-thru twice.

‘He was sitting in his car in the car park drinking the cokes,’ she told the publication.

‘He was a bit aggressive but alright in the end.’

A spokesperson from Victoria Ambulance told Daily Mail Australia they did pick the man up from the car park and take him to the hospital.

They said he was taken in a stable condition, but were unable to confirm or deny the allegations of poisoning.

‘We’re not sure if its poisoning at all, but that is what we had a call for.’

A spokeswoman from Dandenong hospital said the man was not in their care.

Daily Mail has contacted Mcdonald’s Noble Park for further comment.
