A man died after he jumped from a bridge to one of New York’s most popular areas for tourists and diners.
The 61-year-old man, whose identity has not been released by police, jumped from the pedestrian walkway on the south side of the Manhattan Bridge at 7.04pm Saturday.
He was pronounced dead at the scene at 7.13pm when police arrived, police said. They found his body in the tourist-heavy Brooklyn neighborhood of Dumbo.

NYPD officials confirmed the man jumped with the intention to commit suicide.
