A knife was involved in a violent brawl that broke out between a group of men outside a New South Wales shopping centre.
Footage of the incident, from 2012 but posted online on Tuesday, shows two men at the doorway of the Penrith Westfield in close reach of innocent bystanders.
A group of men walk toward the two men and as they draw near one of them throws a punch which knocks a man to the ground.
In the footage, uploaded on Tuesday, a fight then erupts between six men.
The video emerged of the fight outside Westfield Penrith in 2012
A passerby is seen walking toward the entry of the shops with his sports bag.
He spots the fight and sets his bag down before pulling out a gun.
The brawl separates and the men disperse across the road as the armed male charges towards the group pointing the weapon.
Shortly after settling the tension he puts the gun back into his bag before he is attacked by the disgruntled brawlers who surround him and snatch the sports bag.
Onlookers paused at the pedestrian crossing while waiting for the disruption to cease.
After, a bus forces them from the centre of the road and they continue down the road and out of view from the camera.
Onlookers were shocked by the footage, which was taken in 2012 but released in on Tuesday
