He can be heard shouting out as he whizzes along, signalling a combination of excitement and fear.
As soon as he lands in the water, he swims towards a support boat in a bid to escape hypothermia.
Pringle, who is a professional rock climber, was in Greenland as part of assignment with National Geographic.
The travel site shared a clip of his pizza sliding stunt to its Instagram account and to date it has been watched more than five million times.
Many viewers have given Pringle’s crazy antics the thumbs up with the majority pondering how cold it was.
The National Geographic expedition took Pringle and his team members on a six-week journey around south Greenland.
Along the way, the climber tackled an unnamed mountain on un-chartered terrain.
But Pringle apparently wasn’t done with ‘firsts’ and that’s when he had the cunning idea to ride an inflatable pizza slice down a 300 foot iceberg.
