A man has died after suffering a medical emergency on a Jetstar flight from the Gold Coast.
The passenger was on board Jetstar flight Q131 from the Gold Coast to Auckland on Saturday afternoon when he experienced difficulties 20 minutes before landing.
The captain called for priority landing as plane crew assisted the man.

Upon landing, paramedics rushed on the plane to assist the man who was unconscious in the back of the plane, Stuff reported.
He died shortly after landing.
An Auckland Airport spokesman confirmed the man’s death shortly after the plane landed at the airport.
‘We were contacted prior to the flight arriving about a medical emergency,’ a spokesman said.
‘The male passenger died on the air bridge while CPR was being performed.’
Witnesses said they were unable to alight as emergency services helped the man.
