Now it appears an overhaul of the famous tunnel walkway situated in the corner of the Stretford End is being worked on, much to the unanimous delight of United fans on social media.

A short video clip shows a striking new design of what appears to be the tunnel at the 77,000 capacity seater stadium with illuminated lights marking the roof and either side of the walkway.

The clip shows two lighting strikes lit up in the roof of the tunnel, with three pairs of small neon light strips leading onto the pitch. A door granting access to the changing rooms has also been covered with various lighting.

Fans were ecstatic upon seeing the new design as expectations continue to be raised around the club ahead of the upcoming Premier League season.
